Jasmine

On Febuary 1, 2012 we held our Hunk & Beauty Pagent hosted by our Student Council. Our theme for this event was Cultures Around the World.

Lighting was designed by Jasmine Chavez. Technical Advisor was Nicolas Castanon.

We began with our look for preshow. This being a school sponsored event, we wanted to emphasize our school colors blue and yellow. Utilizing R74 (Night Blue) and R312 (Canary), ETC Source4 fixtures were placed down stage of the house curtains and angled upwards to mimic the ornate theatre houses. Additionally, C9 Christmas lights were affixed to the proscemium completing the effect.

Contestants were asked to model three outfits. Unknown as what the contestatns would be wearing and to achieve a festive look celebrating the different cultures, we decided to go with number of color combinations. On stage we used R03 (Dark Bastard Amber), R49 (Medium Purple), R339 (Broadway Pink), R22(Deep Amber), R27(Medium Red),and R90 (Dark Yellow Green).
